How to break through
weight loss plateaus


The best way to break through weight loss plateaus is fully covered in the metabolism section of my site.

But just as a quick summary let me give you the most effective methods to use:



-Cardio training is the best way to break through plateaus. You can increase the intensity, duration or frequency.

-You can also change the cardio exercises that you are doing, so if you are using a stationary bike you can switch to using an elliptical machine.

-Nutrition is another effective strategy. You can use a different nutrient ratio, increase or decrease your calories moderately.

-You can also increase your meal frequency, for example if you have been eating three meals per day, you can try eating four meals.

-Tapering your calories and/or your carbohydrate intake is another effective strategy, meaning that for your first meals of the day you consume more calories or carbs per meal, than in the last meals of the day.

-Zig zagging your calories and/or carbs is another effective approach. This is where one day you consume more calories and/or carbs, and the day you consume less.

The ways you can break through a plateau are numerous, and in this site you will find every possible way that this can be effectively accomplished.
