Ways to increase metabolism
with weight training

One of the best ways to increase metabolism is by doing weight training on a regular basis.

Most people do not realize the impact that weight training has on fat loss.

The main reason why this is so important for losing unwanted body fat is really simple.

When you do weight training during your weight loss program, you maintain your muscle. This keeps your metabolism elevated.

This also helps to raise your exercise post oxygen consumption (EPOC) and your metabolism will stay increased for many hours after the workout.

While you are on a weight loss program, the best you can do is to maintain your muscle, because to build new muscle you will have to be in a calorie surplus, and for weight loss this is not the best approach.

Once you reach your ideal weight, then you can focus on building more muscle, which will increase your metabolism.

And you will burn more calories while at rest.In fact, you will burn more calories while you sleep or watch television.

Muscle is a metabolically active tissue, and your organism has to burn more calories to sustain it.

Since weight training is the only way to build new muscle, it is to your advantage to start weight training as soon as you start your weight loss program, and once you reach your ideal weight to keep doing it in order to build new muscle.

It is also important to know that during the weight training workouts you are primarily burning sugar and not body fat.

It is the fat burning effect that comes after the workout from the increase in the exercise post oxygen consumption (EPOC) and the increase in your lean body mass that makes weight training a must if you want to create the body of your dreams.

This is why building new muscle is one of the best ways to increase metabolism in the long run, and why I recommend that you use this strategy to create a lean, healthy body!
