The Power of Fun....you need to stay active and motivated to keep losing the weight and keep it off once it’s off. You need to find activities that you enjoy and love on a serious level. You aren’t going to increase your heart rate at the arcade smacking the puck at the air hockey tables. Or are you?You may be surprised how heated the best matches at the air hockey tables can get....the power of fun, you bet!. I’ve broken a sweat many times at the arcade smashing the puck between the paddles in the midst of a tournament or even just a match of honor between friends. I don’t suggest this as a main source of exercise, it definitely isn’t, but this can be a great supplemental source of cardio. You just need to keep up the pace. . You can, and should try to always incorporate a little exercise into your relaxation. I know lots of people that bike and run as a form of relaxation but these are not relaxing activities to everyone. You need to find what’s right for you and has the right amount of physical activity for you to not recognize it asexercise. Have you considered dancing? High energy dancing is an amazing way to burn calories. I have found myself drenched in sweat at concerts more often than I have in a gym. Certain bands just get my blood boiling and it’s not until after the lights go out that I realize I have been jumping around and exerting myself for nearly 2 hours.
