The Diet Solution Program Review



The Diet Solution Program review was created by Isabel De Los Rios, a nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle coach. She says that her plan gives dieters a way to change eating habits for life, and develop a long term eating strategy!

The Diet Solution is based on the principle of metabolic typing which categorizes dieters into three groups, each which has its own distinct dietary guidelines.

The first thing dieters are advised to spend some time thinking about what they want to achieve in regards to their health, their weight and their life. And, after doing this, to write down the specific goals that they have chosen and visualize themselves achieving them.

Dieters are also informed that there are three steps that have to be followed in order to achieve their ideal weight.
Step One: Eat in accordance with your metabolic type.

Step Two: Stay within your ideal daily calorie ranges.

Step Three: Consume a variety of high quality food.

In order to determine metabolic type you have to answer a series of questions. Once you are finished, then you are categorized as a protein, carb or mixed type.

According to the program each metabolic type requires ideal amounts and varieties of healthy proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. For each metabolic type there are detailed meal plans in the program.

You are also encouraged to rethink the idea of snacks and to choose nutritious alternatives such as raw nuts, boiled eggs, fruits and raw vegetables.

Isabel also makes you aware of the dangers of hydrogenated fats and advises you to eliminate, or at least decrease your intake of such products.

She also recommends that you keep a food journal. In her opinion this will help you identify which foods and meals make you feel good and satisfied and which don’t. By using this approach, in the long term, you can custom tailor the diet to your true wants and needs.

Recommended Foods

The ideal foods for each person will depend on your metabolic type. Some of the recommended foods include: organic meat and poultry, organic eggs, fish, raw dairy products, raw nuts and seeds, fruit, vegetables, baked sweet potatoes, coconut oil, butter, olive oil, flaxseed, avocado, sprouted breads, stevia, and raw chocolate.

Isabel also recommends to consume a moderate amount of foods that contain the EFA "omega 3" such as salmon, cod liver, krill and/or flaxseed, which is will help your body to function properly on a daily basis.

Sample Diet Plan:

Breakfast:

-2 poached eggs

-1 cup sautéed spinach

-1 pear

Morning Snack:

-2 Tablespoons almond butter

-1 green apple

-Celery sticks

Lunch:

-4 ounces grilled chicken

-Salad with romaine, tomato, cucumber

-1 cup asparagus

-2 teaspoons olive oil

-Apple cider vinegar

Afternoon Snack:

-1 ounce raw walnuts

-6 baby carrots

-1/2 cup blueberries

Dinner:

-4 oz salmon

-1 cup steamed broccoli

-Green salad

Exercise Recommendations:

Isabel De Los Rios recommends an exercise program that includes components of strength training and cardiovascular exercise. The download package also includes 3 exercise E-Books which include clear instructions and photographs of the exercises.
