This includes weighing yourself and writing down your current total body weight. Once you have this written down, make sure that you always weigh yourself once per week, on the same day, at the same time, and in the same clothes.

This will help to track your weight loss results on a weekly basis. Just make sure that you understand that your primary objective is how to lose 15 pounds fast of "unwanted body fat," and not simply 15 pounds of weight! This is why, the way that you actually "look" is much more important, than simply losing pounds on the scale.

It is also very important that you honestly take a look at what, when, and how much you are eating on a daily basis. This should also include the beverages that you drink on a daily basis. It is very important to write this down on paper so that you will actually see what, when, and how much you are consuming on a daily basis!

The 50-30-20 macro-nutrient ratio simply means that 50% of the calories that you consume should come from natural, unrefined carbohydrates, 30% from lean protein, and 20% from good dietary fat. When you reach your weight loss goal you can consume more of your daily calories from the simple carbs, but when you want to lose unwanted body fat as fast as possible, it is to your advantage to keep your intake of these carbs to a minimum!

Lean protein has a thermic effect of 30% and unprocessed, complex carbohydrates have a thermic effect of about 15%. This means that if you consume 2000 calories per day, and you are using a 50-30-20 macro-nutrient ratio for creating your meals, your net-calorie intake will be around 1600 to 1700 calories.

This calorie deficit, is what will help you to lose the 15 pounds fast without slowing down your metabolism. This is very important, because if you do not provide your body with the optimum amount of food, it will slow down your metabolism to compensate for this deficit.

But, if you consume the right amount of food, and simply use the "thermic effect" of these food sources, then you will be able to "trick" your organism into making up for the calorie deficit that is created by the "thermic effect" and it will have to use the unwanted body fat as an energy source -- to make up for this deficit.

This might not be what most people want to hear about, but the reality is this: You don't have to use "high intensity" exercise to create very impressive fat loss results!
