How To Increase Metabolism Naturally
Using Calorie Tapering

Calorie tapering is another technique you can use to increase metabolism naturally.

Once you have the basics and fundamentals of proper nutrition and exercise mastered, you can use this technique to give your metabolism an additional boost.

The idea behind calorie tapering is very simple. You make your breakfast your largest meal of the day, and your diner your smallest meal of the day.

Your first step should always be to get into a habit of eating four average size meals every four hours, with all meals having about the same amount of calories.

For example if your optimum daily calorie intake is 2000 calories per day, you would eat four 500 calorie meals, one every four hours.

Once you get used to eating this way, you can used this advanced technique and taper your calories.

This means that you would eat four meals with your calories looking like this: 600 calories for your first meal, 500 for your second meal, 500 calories for your third meal, and 400 for your last meal.

Since you burn more calories during the day, and less in the evening before sleep, this approach burns up the calories from your meals more efficiently, and you end up losing more body fat than eating meals with equal amounts of calories.
