Why are ideal body weight charts
so popular?

Ideal body weight charts are popular mostly because they are simple and easy to use.

They can be an excellent tool for finding out a ballpark figure of your ideal weight. This weight chart is quite good, in case you want to get a fast calculation.

But since they do not use your lean body mass in the calculation, they are not very accurate.

If you want to find out your true ideal weight, your first step should be to calculate your current lean body mass.

Once you have this number your second step is to choose a body fat percentage that you want to reach in your weight loss program.

When you have these two numbers then you can calculate your true ideal weight, and can start taking steps toward accomplishing this goal.

In the weight loss tracker section, I explain how to use these numbers to get an accurate number of what you should weigh.

And in the section on goal setting I explain how to set goals using an effective strategy that produces movement toward the creation of your dreams and desires.

By using this effective goal setting technique, there will be no reversal that most people experience when trying to lose weight permanently.
