to reach your ideal weight?


When you know how many calories per day that you need to reach your ideal weight, you can produce some impressive results in your weight loss program.

Your first step should always be to calculate your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) by using the formula based on your LBM (lean body mass).

Once you have done the calculations and have your daily maintenance calorie intake, then you can start taking effective steps to lose unwanted body fat permanently.



If you want to reach your ideal weight guessing the amount of calories that you should consume daily is not the right approach.

This is why I consider online calorie calculators a waste of your precious time, and can only recommend them when you want to get a ballpark figure before starting your weight loss program.

The reason why it is important to get an accurate amount of how many calories per day your body needs to reach ideal weight is that if you consume more or less calories you will not be able to reach your major health goal.

If you want to create the body of your dreams with a low body fat percentage, the ultimate way to make this a reality is to consume your daily maintenance calorie intake and use exercise to burn unwanted body fat.

From my experience this is the only way that you can create a long term result in the area of weight loss.

The reason is simple, when you consume the amount of calories that your body needs to function properly and burn body fat with cardio and weight training, you will move toward your goal on a daily basis without hunger and without slowing down your metabolism.

When you consume fewer calories than your body requires it is always a matter of time when your body will force you to throw in the towel and make you eat normal once again.

But if you consumed low calories for some time, this most likely has caused muscle loss, which always leads to your metabolism slowing down and burning fewer calories during the day.

And when you start eating normal amounts of food once again you will gain all the weight you lost and a couple of pounds of body fat on top since what was once maintenance level now will be a calorie surplus due to your metabolism working slower.

So knowing how many calories per day that you need to maintain your current weight combined with nutrition and exercise that you will find in this site, you can reach your ideal weight and create the body of your dreams!
