How do you create a high metabolism by zig zagging calories? First of all, this is an advanced nutrition technique, and should be used only when you have mastered the fundamentals of proper nutrition and exercise. Once you have done that and you fat loss starts to slow down, then you can use this technique. This method tricks your body in keeping its metabolic rate up, while you are dieting for weight loss. Once you calculate your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE), then you simply drop your calories 20% below this number for 2-3 days. For example if your maintenance level daily calorie intake is 3000 calories, you would drop them to 2400 calories and divide this number into four meals. So you would eat four 600 calorie meals four times per day for 2-3 days. Then on the third or fourth day, you would raise your daily calorie intake back up to 3000 calories for 2-3 days. Then after that, you can drop them once more, and do this for as long as you can create great results, without your body catching on, and eventually adopting to this approach.
