Fat Burning Soup
Diet Review


The Fat Burning Soup Diet was created at the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital for overweight patients to lose weight rapidly before surgery.

Like many of the other fad diets, it is a short term strategy and most of the weight that is lost does not come from body fat.

Since I get many questions about this diet I decided to write about this nutrition strategy for information purposes.

Since it was designed to produce short term results, at least this nutrition approach is more honest than most other fad diets.

The recommended ingredients: large green onions, sliced tomatoes, Kombu seaweed, garlic, red onion, green peppers, cabbage, celery, hot pepper, shitake mushrooms, soup stock (chicken, beef, pork, or vegetable), with spices (rosemary, sage, parsley, tarragon and thyme).

These ingredients by themselves are mostly negative calorie foods, so the soup itself can be considered a low calorie meal.

Once your soup is made, then you have seven days where you are supposed to eat certain foods combinations, and of course also eat a portion of this soup.

In the section fat burning soup recipe, I will write how you are supposed to prepare this soup.

And in the section basic fat burning soup diet strategy I will write the steps that you are suggested to take during the seven days of this diet.

In the end I want to say that I do not consider this fad diet or any other kind of diet to be effective in producing long term results.

But for information purposes I like to write about different nutrition approaches. The main reason is so that you can compare my strategy to other strategies that are currently popular and being used by other people around the world.

Hopefully this will make you realize one important distinction: long term weight loss is a process that requires for you to master the basics and fundamentals of proper nutrition and exercise.

And this can only be done by taking small steps on a daily basis and learning what works for you and what doesn’t.

The most effective strategies you will find on the pages of this site, and once you choose the major goal that you want to move toward, all you have to do is use these strategies and measure your results on a weekly basis.
