The same research indicated that the story for women is even worse! During the diet 35% of the loss was muscle tissue – originally less than for men. BUT on reading weight only 15% was lean tissue. When women lost and then regained weight, lean muscle was not satisfactorily regained – 85% of the weight regained was fat!.
