Diet Pills Health Risks, And Are There Healthy Diet Pills?


In this Diet Pills Health Risks article you will find out the truth about diet pills and will discover if there is such a thing as a healthy diet pill.

The first thing I would always suggest is to talk with your doctor or your pharmacist and ask their opinion on this subject.

The majority of the diet pills that are sold over-the-counter are simple weight loss supplements that will never have drug-like effects. They are mostly powdered food or a food derivative.




As long as these products don't produce drug-like effects, the FDA does not take action, but as soon as any product starts producing drug-like results, it is pulled off the shelf in a heartbeat.

Since in this article I am writing about over-the-counter diet pills, I want you to be aware that the majority of these fat burning supplements contain stimulants, and because of this there are definitely some health risks involved with taking them.

Is there such a thing as healthy diet pills?


As far as healthy diet pills, there might be a few, but they will have no effect on weight loss, and will most likely be simple weight loss supplement, more than a diet pill.

With that said, let me cover the diet pills health risks and side effects that are possible when you consume these types of products.

Studies have shown that the caffeine-ephedrine combination can increase body temperature and metabolism, and encourage the body to burn some body fat. The thermogenic effect that is produced by the caffeine-ephedrine can also increase your energy levels, and help to reduce your appetite.

Thermogenesis is the process when your organism burns body fat without making chemical energy. But, what actually happens is that instead these calories are simply released as body heat.

Fat burning supplements that contain the caffeine-ephedrine combination always produce negative side-effects, and one of the worst diet pills health risks with these types of products is that they can lead to addiction and abuse.

People that have a history of cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure should never use these kinds of products. Anyone that is sensitive to stimulants should also stay away from them completely. The small fat burning effect that they produce is not worth it, so my suggestion is to use them very carefully, if at all.

If you are not sensitive to stimulants, and want to use these type of fat-burning products, make sure that you always check with your doctor or pharmacist before you consume any stimulant based diet pills or fat-burning supplements.

Using these products in moderation can produce some results, but these types of products can't be considered healthy diet pills.

This is why the decision if you should use them or not should be made together with a medical professional that has the education and experience in this area.

Diet pills health risks are real, and this is why I would encourage you to think about considering an effective, healthy diet as a "much healthier" step toward creating permanent fat loss!
