Benefits of Eating Healthy
In this section I will list the most important benefits of eating healthy. But before we begin, let me explain what eating healthy really means. This is my own definition, and it is based on many years of experience in the health, fitness and weight loss industry. Eating healthy, first of all, is when you consume the amount of food that your body can burn completely, so there is no calorie surplus to be converted to unwanted body fat. It is also when you create meals using the optimum nutrient ratio for your body type. This is very important because many people have to eat a perfect diet on a daily basis just to maintain their weight. And when they eat unhealthy food, and consume more calories than they burn during the day, they gain unwanted body fat very easily. And last but not least, eating four average size meals every four hours on a daily basis is one of the most important elements of healthy eating. Now for the benefits of eating healthy: without a doubt the most important one is that you will provide your body with everything it needs to function properly. By consuming the optimum amounts of natural carbohydrates, lean protein, good dietary fat, water, vitamins and minerals you will help your organism to do everything that is necessary for you to be healthy and filled with vitality on a daily basis. Eating healthy will also allow you to create the body of your dreams and to maintain your ideal weight. If you are currently overweight you will have to do cardio and some weight training to reach your ideal weight, but proper nutrition is what builds the foundation on which you will build a strong, lean and healthy body. There is nothing that can compare to the feeling you will have when you are eating healthy on a daily basis, especially if you add exercise to your daily routine. The energy levels that you will experience will literally shock you, and you will once and for all choose to focus on putting only those nutrients in your body that it was designed to digest and utilize. For the last 15 years I have been reaping the benefits of eating healthy, and invite you to see what it really feels like, and why there is nothing that can ever make me go back to eating unhealthy food. This does not mean that I never eat delicious food, or food that is considered unhealthy. I simply eat it once in a while, and consider these my cheat meals. I allow myself 2-3 of these per week, and considering that the rest of the time I eat only healthy food, drink plenty of water, and take a multi-vitamin/mineral, my organism burns these cheat meals without me experiencing the negative effects that come from frequently eating unhealthy food. These 2-3 cheat meals per week comes out to only 10% of the calories that I consume, and from my experience this is just the perfect amount to maintain my weight, and at the same time enjoy some of the foods that I really love.
